Re: Difference between Do-Follow links and No-Follow links

Nice Question, But ans is simple.

Basically its a method to tell Search engine bots " Hey Buddy Bot, DO NOT follow or crawl this link"
you need to add the following code to the HTML code above:

    Code:
    OC Forum
AND, there is no true “dofollow”, it is just NOT using the “nofollow” tag
I hope this cleared it up
So while doing SEO, make sure you get a do follow link back !!

    cheers

Dofollow and Nofollow were important factors among many SEO ranking affecting a specific blog/site ranking in search engines.Do follow has importance in Google crawling and no follow does not have weightage.

From the SEO point of view, With the Do follow sites you are allowing the search engine crawlers to crawl all the pages and index as well, In addition to that this is the very much beneficial to get the link juice through the process of back linking whereas no follow disallows the crawlers to crawl or index some of the web pages and more over that this type of sites are not going to pass any link juice. There is a separate tagging like Rel= "nofollow" that is used while creating the robot.txt file to dis allow the certain page.

    "hey...
main difference between no follow links and do follow links is...
""Do follow = Google can crawl the link after that consider as a backlink.
No follow = Google never crawl the site, we cant get the backlink form the sites.. but both are best for increase the website traffic & business"""

Nofollow are not crawling a link by search engine.Dofollow allow search engine to crawl links.Nofollow tag we can use if we are using a link for reference not for crawl. Both are good for traffic.

    Hi Friends,

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it's page rank influence to an outbound link.
No follow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it's page rank status to other sites.

No follow are for not crawling a link by search engine that influence the ranking of a particular website or blog in search engines.

    Thanks and Regards
    Richard Smith
