Great news Starting with Nokia N900 Mobile phone users! The Big good news is that Mozilla has released it new Mobile Browser today that would be compatible for your phones. Mozilla has just given a Release Candidate of its mobile browser, the Fennec for the N900 and the N810.
The feature set includes the Awesome Bar, Password Manager, tabbed browsing, location-aware browsing, one-touch bookmarking and desktop syncing.
Just like the mozilla web Browser the major strength that Fennec has is that it supports a variety of add-ons with lots more coming up in the future. Fennec suppports 30 languages, including Arabic, French, German, Russian, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
Mozilla is claiming that its new mobile web browser, currently dubbed Fennec, will spell the end of application stores for mobile phones because once developers start writing for it, apps will run on any platform and can bypass platform specific app stores. Yes, that’s right, the old “write once, run anywhere” promise. It didn’t work when Java gained popularity in the 90′s, and I don’t think it will work any better as the new decade dawns.
