The below 3 discussions that were going on our blog was regarding the first Google Pagerank update for the year 2011 for the last few month. Now i have enough confirmation from thousands of webmasters and forums that it has finally arrived here. I would say the Pagerank was updating data center by data center and now majority of the webmasters confirm that the page rank update for the year 2011 has arrived on January 20, 2011. When is the next Google Pagerank update Or Google PR Update?

Assuming you have that you have reached this page because you already know what is a page rank, Let me continue..
PageRank values vary from 0 – 10, PR0 being the least and PR10 the Highest valued.

The first PR update this year was on the 2010 New year. And as per the previos google PR update pattern, we could expect the next PR update in between march 31st to April mid. Ideally there would be 4 PR updates from google a year.

Latest PageRank update (PR) – Update 31 December 2009

1st PR update in 2010 : 31 March – 1 April 2010
2nd PR update in 2010 : 31 June – 1 July 2010
3rd PR update in 2010 : 31 September – 1 October 2010
4th PR update in 2010 : 31 December – 1 January 2011

Just before New Year day Google has suddenly shows Google PR (PageRank) update.  The news really was a surprise for all the webmasters and SEO experts world wide. we can even call it as a New year eve gift from google to the web world.

 Generally Google updates PageRank (PR) of websites at regular interval of 2.5-3 months. This time the update was sudden and a good one !

So dont wait, just check your page rank it might have gone up Happy Newyear !
