Smashing Magazine has acquired the popular Web Design blog, Noupe. Noura Yehia, the Founder/Editor of the site posted this message today:

Noupe Says: “The reason for this move is my personal situation: I have to take care of some issues right now, and I don’t want to compromise the quality of articles on Noupe or let the website slowly fade away. But stay tuned cause i will come back soon with something new very soon. As a loyal reader of Noupe, you do not have to worry about anything. You won’t be disappointed, and you don’t have to be afraid of weird changes: Vitaly Friedman and Sven Lennartz of Smashing Magazine are not going to turn Noupe into something completely different.
