I am not very familiar with Joomla because I am certified WordPress addict. However, i agree with you on this assessment: “Upgrades bring more bugs than fixes sometimes.”
That happened to me last month when I upgraded my blogs to 3.1.
Emma,
Ideally upgrades would not create much problems, ive been doing it for past few years. You need to make sure your theme and plugin are compatible before you upgrade and also remember to back up your DB
cheers, Josh
I am using WordPress and I think this is enough for me as of press time…I am just a very humble copy paste non-techie person.
Absolutely – wordpress is the best when it comes to non techi users!
i agree with this.. i really migrated from blogger to wordpress.. it’s later easy to work, good in traffic, because friendly with search engines, more free plug-ins, even though no skill in coding people also works great with wordpress…
WordPress has good themes and the
wordpress pages load faster when compared to Drupal. WordPress also has a plugin for SEO. We need to enter the special keywords.
Yes, in the lot – even my favorite is WordPress !! it used to be Joomla and Drupal before though!
Cheers, Josh
Hi,
I am not good on technical part of a site that’s why I prefer wordpress.
Great post! Thanks.
WordPress has come so far…it is the best for ease of use.
I find Drupal more powerful as a open source CMS. With is version 7.X, many powerful features are included. And with its improving micro-blogging module it can develop instant updating content sharing as we can fine in twitter and some sites. Two years back i use joomla for designing a newspaper online portal and i found its weakness in many ways. And now i am doing my second project with drupal and i find it more flexible.
I have used all three and My favorite is Joomla and Drupal. Wrodpress reminds me of a blog platform. Oh yeah its is a blog platform. Joomla and Drupal and much more powerful CMS systems.
