• Log on to Facebook.com
• Click on Account Settings Tab
• Navigate to “Username” and check for the availability.
• Save your new username and you are done.

Once you have saved your new username, say for example: “orangecopper” Now, a vanity URL is automatically created in the following format: Facebook.com/orangecopper

The vanity URL could be used on your visiting cards, websites and links directing your contacts to even your Facebook page. The usage of vanity URLs can be a great way to brand your Facebook page and account.

DMCA Takedown notice is a notice sent to webmasters by copyright content or intellectual property owners to persuade website owners to take down supposedly infringing content that on the target website.

A DMCA takedown notice is usually sent to web hosting company (ISP) hosting the infringing content publishing website. Below are the important points to include in a Takedown notice:

• Notice as per the 17 USC 512(c)(3)(A) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”)
• Subject that clearly speaks about the Copyright Infringement.
• Original copyrighted content destination URL or link.
• Infringing material location or website with all details.
• Your contact information and details.
• Your digital signature or if required a signature in writing (scanned or snail mailed)
• Mention that you are writing in good faith belief that you have not authorized the usage.
