Last day while wasting my time on the web i came across an intersting website with a nice concept. the website name is RefreshLink.com. Here is how it works.

  1. You can add your 125×125 ad banners for free on to the website 
  2.  Click on the add banner button and add your banner
  3. There is a refresh time or an expiry time for an add
  4. Only registered users would be able to control the expiry or reserve a spot for $0,0001 per second.

Notion Ink Adam: An Impressive Tablet PC

 The Apple IPAD was released few weeks ago after being talked about for more that 5 years. It was supposed to be the Kindle Killer( Amazon’s Kindle is a eReader gadget). Apple’s IPAD is very impressive and not overpriced. But lacks a few points which has been covered by a new product that is expected to land in US markest by End of June 2010.

Named “Adam” is a Tablet PC developed by Company called Notion Ink, Started by an IITian from Kharagpur. It would be Powered by Android Operating system. Its notable as the firslt commercially available device to support the pixel Qi’s Low-power, Display with dual mode.It includes a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor that could support 1080p Video output. Also has an impressive 12 MP Camera and great software interface. It weighs arround 700 Grams.

Expected launch in US: Jun 2010.

NEWS: Twitter Resets User Passwords in Wake of Phishing Attack

Its not first time that twitter was attacked by hackers, on a few occation in may 2009, twitter accounts of prominant users like obama and britney spears were attacked, twitter took immidiate measures to protect their account and restore it. This time twitter was hacked by phishing method of account hacking. Twitter reset account passwords of prominant users as a step ahead to this situation.

Early Tuesday, Twitter says it had to reset the passwords of a small number of accounts compromised in an external phishing attack.

As part of Twitter’s ongoing security efforts, we reset passwords for a small number of accounts that we believe may have been compromised offsite,” Twitter wrote in a prepared statement.

Twitter said it took the security action because of a “combination of multiple bad acts.” One, it believes, is accounts being compromised by Twitter users signing up for what it described as “get followers fast schemes” luring people to a non-Twitter site. A Twitter spokesperson also said it suspects this third-party site “could have allowed hackers to gain access to email addresses and passwords. Those Twitter users who use the same email addresses and passwords could be affected.”

Great news Starting with Nokia N900 Mobile phone users! The Big good news is that Mozilla has released it new Mobile Browser today that would be compatible for your phones. Mozilla has just given a Release Candidate of its mobile browser, the Fennec for the N900 and the N810.

The feature set includes the Awesome Bar, Password Manager, tabbed browsing, location-aware browsing, one-touch bookmarking and desktop syncing.

Just like the mozilla web Browser the major strength that Fennec has is that it supports a variety of add-ons with lots more coming up in the future. Fennec suppports 30 languages, including Arabic, French, German, Russian, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Twitter to introduce geolocation-based features

Twitter soon to introduce the Geo Location and geo targetting based feature in its API or application and as a part of this move, its aquired a geo location tool/app company called Mixer Labs, Twitter has announced this a few days ago.

The Micro blogging Giant has now added one more feature to its arsenal with this move and we can soon see effective geo targetting or geo locating feature hopefully.
