Yea, you read it right! I am asking this question because I am certain that there are countless number of bloggers who are not blogging smart. When I say “smart blogging” it’s planned and strategic blogging after appropriate keyword research.

It’s often observed that several “internet marketing Gurus” on the web quote, re-quote and repeatedly quote the below few statements:

1. Content is the King
2. Try to write every day and improve frequency

I don’t comment saying the above two points of advice are wrong, intact these are part of a good approach of building quality content on your websites. BUT, it’s not correct to limit the advice right there, you should try send the right message across to your readers by mentioning the importance of content and keyword research before stuffing articles on the blogs.

How to do Smart Blogging: well there is no structured operating procedure for being writing smart, it’s all about using the combination of right methods and tools to identify the demand vs supply ratio of topics on the web.

It’s smart to write 5 articles that are found on search engines at the top 3 results rather than writing 20 articles that don’t appear even on the first page. The ideal approach towards smart blogging should be:

A DMCA takedown notice is usually sent to web hosting company (ISP) hosting the infringing content publishing website. Below are the important points to include in a Takedown notice:

  • Notice as per the 17 USC 512(c)(3)(A) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”)
  • Subject that clearly speaks about the Copyright Infringement.
  • Original copyrighted content destination URL or link.
  • Infringing material location or website with all details.
  • Your contact information and details.
  • Your digital signature or if required a signature in writing (scanned or snail mailed)
  • Mention that you are writing in good faith belief that you have not authorized the usage.
